The default date format is mm/dd/yyyy. In order to change the format of a date token, use the token name followed by a pipe, then add the desired format and enclose it in brackets. (i.e. [orderDate|m/d/Y]).

You can also use most special characters such as colon, hyphen, and forward slash.
