We made it very easy to connect your BitPay account to your checkout page. This document provides instructions on how to do so.

Disclaimers:

BitPay does not support rebills. BitPay does not support an Auth/Capture model.

Upsells are not supported on BitPay at this time. It can take up to 10 minutes for the blockchain to confirm the original transaction. In that time another item cannot be added to the order. Our team is investigating solutions to support this in the near future. One alternative is to send the upsell as a new order.

Step 1: Login and navigate to the funnel you’d like to add BitPay to

Step 2: Click the gear button on the top left to open Settings

Step 3: Open the Payments section

Step 4: Add new BitPay gateway credentials

  • Enter token from your BitPay account

    • Login to BitPay Account > Payment Tools > API Tokens (Under the Integration Resources)

    • Click “Add New Token”

    • Enter your token label

    • Do not check "Require Authentication"

    • Click "Add Token"

Step 5: Save and Continue

Step 6: Edit Checkout page and drag the BitPay button to the page

Step 6-1: Customize button size by clicking on the button and dragging the highlighted corners or use Dimension tab for advanced edits. Under the Settings for the element, be sure the Action is set to Submit + Route
