Amazon Pay (Checkout Champ)
Step 1: Login and navigate to the funnel on which to add Amazon Pay
Step 2: Click the gear button on the top left to open the funnel settings
Step 3: Open the Payments section
Step 4: Add Amazon Pay credentials
Select or add an Amazon Pay merchant account.
Client ID, Seller ID, and Access Key values can be found in the Amazon SellerCentral Portal by logging into https://sellercentral.amazon.com/ and going to Integration → MWS Access Key.
The Enable Recurring checkbox determines whether to use Amazon billing agreements to enable recurring purchases. If checked, the customer will be required to check the “Use my selected payment method for future purchases and payments to this merchant” box in the Amazon-generated consent widget to complete the purchase. If unchecked, the order will be processed as a one-time payment.
Step 5: Save and Continue
Step 6: Edit Checkout page and add Amazon Pay button
You can choose a gold, light, or dark Amazon Pay button. The difference is color only. Add only one button to the page.
Step 7: Save the page and exit the page builder
Step 8: On the arrow leaving the checkout page, choose the Amazon Pay button for navigation.
Step 9: Publish the funnel. You’re done and ready to test!
Creating Amazon Pay App And Adding Your Domain
Log in to https://sellercentral.amazon.com
Go to Integration → Integration Central
Go to Manage client ID/store ID(s) section at the bottom of the page and click “Create new client ID/store ID” or click “View client ID/store ID(s)” and “Edit” to update existing app.
Add “https://funnels-build.Checkout Champ.com“ and “https://funnels.Checkout Champ.com“ or your custom funnel domain to JavaScript origins and return URLs and create or update.
Upon clicking the Amazon Pay button on your checkout page, you will get the message “We’re sorry The payment method that you chose isn['t available for this purchase. Please choose another. Integration error summary” in the login popup window if your funnel domain is not added to your Amazon Pay client ID configuration.
Transaction Flow
The Customer will click the Amazon-generated Amazon Pay button
A window will popup for the customer to sign into Amazon
The customer will return to your checkout page, select shipping address and payment method from the Amazon-generated widgets, and click the Amazon Pay button to complete the purchase.
Customer info fields are required for this alternate payment method.
